Would you be interested in taking part in volunteering activity to help with habitat improvement on the River Coln in Fairford? The WILD project (www.fwagsw.org.uk/what-we-do/projects/wild-project/) has identified some small-scale enhancement works that could be undertaken along the Coln, to the south of the town and has agreement to carry these out. An objective of the WILD project is to enable local communities to work to improve the water environment and as such there is an opportunity to take forward some of the tasks.
Depending on interest levels, an initial plan is to undertake a volunteering day on a weekend some time in late April or May.
If you are interested in getting involved and would like to find out more, please contact Paul Taylor at email@example.com or call 07793 038586
