7	Fairford Hospital league of friends The League of Friends is a voluntarily-run registered charity which provides support to the Hospital and General Practices in Fairford and Lechlade, as well as other services which the over-stretched N.H.S. is unable to provide. We may have no beds in our hospital but we are still very busy. Services include: Friends in the Community Home Nursing Scheme supports those who are very ill or prefer to stay in their own homes with family or friends and supplements the work of the Doctors and District Nurses.	431
