Ø The Fairford & Lechlade Business Club Awards Ceremony has been postponed until Friday April 30. There is no Club meeting tonight (Thursday). Ø On Wednesday February 2, the Community Bus will run a trip to Blundson Market departing Fairford at 10am and returning at 12.15pm. Cost £2.60. The competition is for a piece of art or craft work by a member. Visitors are welcome. Ø The Farrell School of Irish Dancing would like to perform at more community events. Ø The Ernest Cook Trust have just launched a new website – www.ernestcooktrust.org.uk – in order to tell people about what they do and why. They believe they have a responsibility to help people learn from the land and understand more about how the countryside works. Being an educational trust, there are grants available to help young people, so visit the website and find out a little bit more about this organisation. Ø Fairford United Church extends a warm welcome to their service on Sunday January 31 at 10am with Mr Mike Hutchings. Ø St Mary’s Church Services for Sunday January 31 are 8am Holy Communion (prayer book), 10am Family Service, 11.15am Mattins, 6pm Holy Communion with healing prayer, 7.30pm Youth Service.
