Fairford Town Council has been working closely with CDC in piloting its approach to community resilience in the event of an emergency hitting our town. Members of the public have come forward and volunteered their services, should they be needed in an emergency.

The Emergency Action Group has now developed a training package for these volunteers, which will be provided jointly by CDC and Gloucestershire CountyCouncil. The training will offer practical advice for those who may assist in an emergency providing guidance on the issues and problems they may face and the roles they may be expected to perform.
