MINUTES OF THE FULL COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON 9TH JUNE 2009 IN THE COMMUNITY CENTRE, FAIRFORD
The Mayor Cllr Joe Cusack presided over the Full Town Council meeting held on Tuesday 9th June in the Community Centre, High Street Fairford.

Woolfoot (Wilts & Glos Standard), 6 members of the public 080 09/10 Apologies for Absence Cllr Fisher, County Cllr Theodoulou, Cllr Winney for late arrival.
081 09/10 Declarations of Interest in Items on the Agenda Item 98 & 99 – Cllrs S Jones & Hing – personal interest 082 09/10 Minutes To approve the minutes of the Extra Ordinary Full Council Meeting held on 2nd June 2009 and Annual Meeting of the Town Council held on 12th May 2009 (pp016-020 09/10) It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the Extra-ordinary Full Council Meeting held on 2nd June 2009 (pp030-031 09/10) with amendments. Proposed Cllr Frank, seconded Cllr Harwood – 7 in favour, 4 abstentions. The minutes of the Annual Meeting of the Town Council were not approved but it was RESOLVED to defer this to the next meeting of the Full Council in order for amendments to be made once they have been clarified. Proposed Cllr S Jones, seconded Cllr Hing – all in favour. ACTION: Clerk to amend minutes and re- submit to Cllrs. Cllr Winney arrived. 083 09/10 To agree to adjourn the meeting for Public Question Time – there is a 10 minute time limit It was RESOLVED to adjourn the meeting for Public Question Time – Proposed Cllr Harwood, seconded Cllr Hing – all in favour. Q: Why were the former members of the Silver Band not contacted before the musical instruments held by the Council were disposed of? A: The Council had not been made aware that anyone might have been interested in the musical instruments. The Council’s remit was to hold the instruments and to dispose of them as we saw fit. The Council endeavored to dispose of the instruments to groups and organizations who might be able to use them, such as schools and charitable organizations. The Council were rather surprised that the Silver Band did not contact any ex-members before giving the instruments to the Council. Q: E-mailed from resident about the last Extraordinary Meeting.
