Q: Why were the former members of the Silver Band not contacted before the musical
instruments held by the Council were disposed of?
A: The Council had not been made aware that anyone might have been interested in the
musical instruments.  The Council’s remit was to hold the instruments and to dispose
of them as we saw fit.  The Council endeavored to dispose of the instruments to
groups and organizations who might be able to use them, such as schools and
charitable organizations.  The Council were rather surprised that the Silver Band did
not contact any ex-members before giving the instruments to the Council.
Q: E-mailed from resident about the last Extraordinary Meeting.
A: A reply will be sent to the resident
