MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING
ON TUESDAY 2nd JUNE 2009

PL026 Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda
Cllr Roberts declared a personal interest in item PL030 (Claydon Pike discharge application) as she had sent a letter of objection to the application in her role as Ward Councillor.

 

PL027 To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 19th May 2009
It was RESOLVED to sign the minutes of the meeting on 19th May 2009 (pp022-024 09/10) as a true and accurate record of the proceedings

 

PL028 To review decision notices for PERMITS / CONSENTS / received:

 

09/00780/FUL First floor pitch roof extension and revised ground floor layout (amendment to planning permission 08/02434/FUL at 3 Mount Pleasant, Fairford. (PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED)

 

PL029 To consider NEW PLANNING APPLICATIONS

 

09/00903/ADV Replacement of two existing fascia signs with one illuminated fascia sign. Two replacement hanging signs and two advertisement panels at Londis, 21 London Street, Fairford (ADVERTISEMENT APPLICATION – NEW DETAILS)

SUPPORT THE APPLICATION but would like a condition that the replacement tree is planted in the first season after felling the silver birch.

09/01028/FUL Erection of single storey rear extension at 8 Leafield Road, Fairford (FULL PLANNING APPLICATION)

SUPPORT THE APPLICATION providing the new build is within the % increase in footprint allowed

PL030 Notification of appeal of discharge consent no. NPSWQD003811 refusing the discharge of effluent from Coln Park, Claydon Pike, Lechlade to Courts Brook.
comments to be submitted in writing by 9th June. It was RESOLVED to resubmit the letter of objection sent in relation to the original application. (Cllr Roberts abstained from voting)

PL031 To review Correspondence received
· Response from the Camping and Caravanning Club ref Cinder Lane site: The Camping and Caravan site has given approval for a 5 unit site next to the Cinder Lane Football Club. Reps from Fairford Town Council are to meet Fairford Football Club at 7pm on Monday 15th June.
ACTION: The Clerk to see if the time of the meeting can be changed to 6pm
· CDC Notification of a new TPO made in respect of a beech tree at Milestone House, London Road, Fairford: The information was noted

PL032 Items the Chairman considers urgent: None

PL033 Next meeting –Tuesday 16th June at 7pm (not 9th June as stated on agenda)
