(REFUSAL OF PLANNING PERMISSION) Concern was raised about an email from CDC sent on 31st March 2010 indicating there would be no further correspondence on this application. ACTION: Clerk and Cllrs to re-read email and respond accordingly. PL135 To consider NEW PLANNING APPLICATIONS 10/01222/FUL Erection of two storey side extension at 2 Churchill Place, Fairford (FULL PLANNING APPLICATION) SUPPORT THE APPLICATION 10/00493/FUL Full application for retrospective planning application for the retention of two tennis courts and a car park for ten cars at Coln Park, London Road, Lechlade NEW DETAILS RECEIVED: POND COMMENT: There are no objections to the proposed pond but the issues raised previously have not been addressed. 10/00824/STICE Application for Street Trading Consent SUPPORT THE APPLICATION PL136 To discuss proposed development of land at rear of Saxon Way Colnside Construction is proposing a mixed development of approx 18 market houses and 6 affordable houses. The land has been listed as suitable for development in CDC’s Strategic Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA). No designs have been prepared yet but Colnside Construction wished to make early contact with FTC. ACTION: The Clerk to contact Colnside Construction to thank for the early notification but a decision can’t be made until more detail plans are submitted. FTC would like to see as many affordable homes as possible. There is no objection to the principle of housing development on the land. PL137 To discuss Coln Park applications in general ACTION: Cllr Cusack offered to speak to the developer to try and arrange a meeting with Fairford, Kempsford, Lechlade and Whelford. PL138 To agree response to letter from CDC dated 18th February 2010 ref Pips Field Cllr Wardle has not had chance to draft a reply – to be circulated via email PL139 To receive response from tree warden ref trees at Manor Farmhouse The Tree Warden has sent his initial comments and a formal Conservation Area application would need to be submitted for the proposed work. He confirmed that the Wellingtonia is a visually significant tree and too prominent and distinctive to be cut. PL140 To consider the New Power for Local and Parish Councils to boost affordable rural housing The Power has not been granted yet and is only relevant to settlements of a population of 3000 or less.
