PL4 To consider NEW PLANNING APPLICATIONS 10/00971/FUL Installation of concrete batching and wash down plants, construction of site office with associated parking, relocation of site shed, extension of storage by relocating office and associated parking, and work to additional storage areas at Fairford Concrete, Fairford Industrial Estate, Whelford Lane, Fairford Cllrs Jones and Cusack visited the site on 30th April 2010. A number of concerns were raised about the application: • Clarification is needed on whether permission has been granted for the current location of the batching plant and the entrance to the office development • The Certificate of Lawful Use does not cover the whole site as indicated in the application • The site of the proposed office block is in Zone A (Quiet Zone) of the Cotswold Water Park designations • Some of the work in the storage area (yard extension) has already been carried out • The application states there will be no increase in traffic despite the new office development • The application states that it is not a Greenfield site – the office development area is Greenfield It was agreed to ask for an extension of time to allow further investigation and other Councillors to visit the site. ACTION: The Clerk to contact CDC and arrange site visit for Cllrs Wardle, Boulton & Fisher POST MEETING NOTE: An extension of time has been granted until 20th May 2010 10/01504/FUL Two storey side extension at 41 Aldsworth Close, Fairford SUPPORT THE APPLICATION 10/00493/FUL Retrospective application for the retention of two tennis courts and a car park for ten cars at Coln Park, Claydon Pike, Lechlade. NEW DETAILS: screening hedgerow added around tennis courts The new details do not answer any of the concerns previously raised. 10/01648/TPO 135A.6. 10 Limes reduce height by 15%, fell 8 tree stems in border and 2 Field Maple, reduce to 3m approx at Finches Field, The Croft, Fairford The Tree Warden has been stuck abroad and not yet responded. It was resolved that Cllr Boulton would visit the site and make a recommendation.
