Allotments

A number of residents have contacted Fairford Town Council recently to request the provision of allotments for the town. The Town Council does not currently own any land suitable for allotment use and so the first step is to locate possible areas of land. A request was made in the local paper and Council newsletter for anyone in the town to suggest/offer a parcel of land that the Town Council could purchase for allotments. Response has been slow to date and the Council is now starting to look at other options.

One option is a Garden Scheme.  Do you have a garden you cannot maintain?  Do you want a vegetable patch, but have not got the room?  If either of these questions applies to you, please contact the Town Council and we will try and match people up for the benefit of both parties.
