We are extremely pleased to welcome the opening of a local food bank distribution point in the community centre. It is now open in the Heritage room every Wednesday from 1pm – 2.30pm and will be also be open every Wednesday over the Christmas period.
Please come along and meet our friendly team, you will be met with compassion, kindness, a listening ear, as well as a warm drink and a biscuit. Your foodbank voucher will be exchanged for three days of emergency food.
Food bank vouchers are available from Schools, Citizens Advice, Doctor Surgeries, Health care professionals, if you need help in getting a voucher then please contact or drop in one Wednesday afternoon to talk to a volunteer.
If you would like to help by donating items of food then please drop off your donations into St Mary’s church any weekday morning.
Any extra help is always appreciated and if you are interested in helping by volunteering either at the food bank in Fairford or other local ones then please contact the foodbank.
